Business Development Representative

Sales Los Angeles San Francisco US, Remote


  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience in Sales or Business Development, Sales Prospecting, or similar role
  • B2B/SaaS sales experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads
  • Develop, test, and iterate messaging across multiple channels, industries and personas - get creative with cadences and messaging!
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Research relevant markets (verticals, customer segments, etc) and gather key prospect information
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Build reports to present to the manager
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Regular achievement of targets & quotas, documentation of all data on Salesforce, and appropriate tools
  • Daily team huddles to celebrate wins and share goals

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas, passion for sales and sales processes, understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
